Santa Stockings

Hi all,
Sometimes I craft but not with paper or my lovely SU stamps,or my most favourite piece of equipment my Big Shot.
I belong to Women's Institute and this was in out latest magazine. They are so eazy to knit and will look great on the tree with a wee chocolate santa hiding in them. Thanks for looking.

Christmas Tree

I have been folding up lots of books lately, they have all become christmas trees. My best friend has also caught the bug. Here is one that I did today.
I spray painted the tree in gold paint  added lots of flowers and bling, thinking of making three and putting them along a low long coffee table in my lounge.

 

Little Purses

I made these little purses yesterday.
As I haven't got the drling little cutting dye my friend and I made these.
Just cur a strip 4cm x 12cm and score at 2cm 3cm 6cm 9cm fold up put a wee piece of magnet to close and decorate. I have used a small snowflake very old punch and a wee purl. Have nade 15 for my ladies at Womens Institute. they hold one favourite and this is for after dinner at our xmas meeting.

Altered Book Xmas Tree

I have just had the most wonderful dayFirst a walk with my friend. Coffee at the cafe really good coffee too.
Crafting for the rest of the day.
This tree is to be table decoration on christmas day.

 

I have just finished this.
It mystery present.
I hope whoever receives it likes it I love it except it gives me hayfever.
The box will be filled with Hersey Kisses.

Punch Art Father Xmas

Hi all,
I have been missing but have been crafting along with lots of other things and the blog was the last on the list.
Had a wonderful day today with my friend and made this card for my grandchildren.
I am going to cut out all the bits and send it to my granddaughter in the States and she will put it together with the help of her mother.

Tea Light Birthday Cakes

Hi all,
I have been playing with battery operated tea lights . I need to make at least 8 of these for a big Womens Institute function, as the table decoration.
My new stamp Quint-Essential Flower stamp is just fantastic and makes a lovely top for the tea light.

I have a new camera and I think these pics are a lot better than the old one. Have mislaid the old one so now that I have bought a new one I guess I will find the old one.

I have been a bit quite lately, took my camera out of my handbag and couldn't remember where I put it. Here is the Xmas tree I made after seeing one at Heartfelt Day in Auckland.

Hi everyone I've just learnt how to put a title on my psots.
This is one of the cards I made yesterday. Had such a good day with my friend Ruth.

Ruth my friend was totally taken with this set and has made 4 cards.

This is some things I have been working on.

I made this for my friend who is really sick at the moment.
It is the top of a wee box that I have filled with chocolates,
to cheer her up.

I have been playing with the ornament cutter to make a table decoration
for a function I am organising. This is the 2nd try.

I had the best day yesterday and my Upline Teejay.
We worked with the ornament die and this is one of
what I created. It is to be used as a table decoration
at a function for Women's Institute (WI) I am organising.

I have been fitting out my craft room.
Needed storage and a bit more floor space.
Think I have achieved just that.

I made this the other day, was playing with my Fancy Favours Die.
If you don't fold in the sides you can put one over the other and make a box.
Shut it right down for a smaller box or pull one up a bit for a larger box.
Hope you like it.

Hi all,
I have been away, had a big birthday and now have the flu.
Still here are a couple of things I have been playing with.

This is my take on a Teacup Pincushion, it is going in to my craft room to hold my
beaded stick pins.

Tissue box have made a few of these as gifts for some of my WI ladies.

At the same weekend with Teejay we made this purse.
I am going to send this one to a WI in Cornwell.

I have been missing for a while. Have been to a WI Conference in Wellington for 4 days. Good weather not too windy and not much rain so walking back and forth to the venue was not a problem.
Went to a craft day with Teejay before I went and this card is similar to one we made there.
This one is for my Sister's birthday.

I have just had the most wonderful day. Crafting with a very good friend.
This is the last thing we did and it was open the catalogue and see what we can make.
